Stryn upper secondary school

 

The assignment was to decorate the floor of the school yard, which is also used as assembly space for the village. The geometry of the space has given the conditions for the floor decoration. Concentric square tiles of granite in two colours create a visual effect that suggests directions and angles in coherence with the surrounding school buildings.
